British health regulators on October 5 revoked the Emeryville, California-based company's manufacturing license for its Liverpool facility, which was meant to provide half of the United States' flu shots this winter.
Last month, British regulators extended the halt on production at the plant until the beginning of April, calling Chiron manufacturing for next flu season into question.
