Myotubes use saturated palmitate and unsaturated oleate differently

According to recent research from Denmark and Norway, "We recently described a primarily reduced palmitate oxidation in myotubes established from type 2 diabetic subjects, whereas triacylglycerol (TAG) accumulation seemed to be adaptive.
