Dalteparin doesn't influence lupus anticoagulant test results

Dalteparin therapy is unlikely to influence the results of lupus anticoagulant (LA) assays. "Treatment with unfractionated heparin is known to affect screening tests" for LA, hematologists in Norway explained. "False positive test results are common because confirmatory steps lack sufficient specificity to distinguish between LA and the presence of heparin." In a recent study, S.
