Data on acute myeloid leukemia are outlined in reports from Taiwan, the United States and Germany. Study 1: CEBP alpha gene mutations occur in 6% of childhood acute myeloid leukemia. According to published research from Taiwan, "CEBPalpha mutations have been described in adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and conferred a favorable prognosis.
