Establishing first-line therapy use challenge for U.S. colorectal cancer market

Developing drugs and establishing them as standardized first-line therapy in the U.S. colorectal cancer market is becoming increasingly complicated as companies struggle to identify the best combination in which they should test and market their drugs.

This is a strong challenge due to the complexity of colorectal cancer treatment that often requires the use of three drugs for first-line therapy and two drugs for second-line therapy.
