Enrollment initiated for phase 1 trial for inhaled asthma product

Lab International Inc., a drug development company with subsidiaries focused on developing therapies for the inhalation market and on contract research services, announced that it has initiated enrollment in a phase 1 trial for its asthma product LAB CGRP (calcitonin gene related peptide). The placebo controlled dose escalation study is being conducted in a single center in Europe to investigate the safety and tolerability of inhaled CGRP. A total of 10 healthy volunteers will be enrolled in the study.
