Research add new data to breast cancer body of knowledge

New findings from France describe advances in breast cancer. Study 1: Scientists claimed that an axilla scoring system predicted non-sentinel lymph node (SN) status in breast cancer patients. According to recent research published in the journal Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, "Axillary lymph node dissection (ALND) is the current standard of care for breast cancer patients with SN involvement. However, the SN is the only involved axillary node in a significant proportion of these patients."
