Reports advance knowledge in cancer vaccines research

Reports from The Netherlands, United States and Germany highlight recent research on cancer vaccines. Study 1: Researchers have identified a recombinant protein that causes restricted apoptosis in human leukemic T cells. According to a study from the Netherlands and Germany, "Current treatment of human T-cell leukemia and lymphoma is predominantly limited to conventional cytotoxic therapy and is associated with limited therapeutic response and significant morbidity.
