Aptamer developer names chairman of clinical advisory board

Noxxon Pharma AG (Noxxon) announced the appointment of Daniel Levitt, MD, PhD, to the position of chairman of the clinical advisory board.

Levitt, chief medical officer and head of clinical and regulatory affairs of Dynavax Technologies (DVAX), has over 25 years experience in the development of pharmaceuticals. Previous positions held by Levitt include chief operating officer and head of research and development at Affymax, Inc., president of research and cevelopment at Protein Design Labs, Inc., and a number of executive positions at Geron Corporation, Sandoz Pharma Ltd., Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Corporation and Hoffmann-LaRoche, Inc.
