Healthcare IT company Systems Xcellence names Mark A. Thierer to board of directors

Systems Xcellence Inc., (SXC) a provider of healthcare information technology solutions throughout the pharmaceutical supply chain, announced that Mark A. Thierer has been named to the board of directors.

Thierer is currently the president of Physicians Interactive, a division of Allscripts, Inc. (MDRX). Physicians Interactive provides clinical information and education to physicians and patients through online, interactive programs. Their client base includes pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies.
