Expert Medic develops healthcare information technology (HIT) solution for sports medicine

Expert Medic announced it has developed a demonstration HIT solution for the sports medicine specialty using the Philips iSite Platform Application Programming Interface (API).

By combining Expert Medic's specialized applications for sports medicine and Philips iSite PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System), sports teams and athletes will benefit from a seamless and specialized electronic health record (EHR) product suite with imaging capabilities, enabling team physicians to view a more comprehensive patient record.
