Study data from Life Science Research Center update knowledge of immunology

A report, "c-JUN N-terminal kinase-1 (JNK1) but not JNK2 or JNK3 is involved in UV signal transduction in human epidermis," is newly published data in Journal of Dermatological Science. "c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) plays a critical role in UV-induced apoptotic cell death. Although three isoforms are known in mammals, physiological roles of each isoform are still obscure," scientists writing in the Journal of Dermatological Science report.
