New pulmonary hypertension therapy study results reported from Cleveland Clinic

New research, 'Lupus-associated pulmonary hypertension: long-term response to vasoactive therapy,' is the subject of a report. "'INTRODUCTION: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a serious complication of lupus. The effectiveness of current vasoactive therapy has not been well described," researchers in the United States report.

"Retrospective analysis of 12 patients with lupus-associated PH (age 43±10 years, mean±SD, all female) treated with pulmonary vasodilators.
