Researchers from Nara Medical University publish new studies and findings in the area of bladder cancer

According to a study from Kashihara, Japan, " To assess the relationship between the tissue levels of pyrimidine nucleoside phosphorylase (PyNpase) and clinicopathological parameters in human bladder cancer and to investigate the PyNpase levels in rat and mouse urinary bladder initiated by N-butyl-N-(4-hydroxybutyl) nitrosamine (BBN). The PyNpase levels in tumor tissue, normal tissue adjacent to the tumor, and normal tissue apart from the tumor were measured in 102 patients."
