2010 DEC 13 -- New investigation results, 'Skull base tumor model,' are detailed in a study published in Journal of Neurosurgery. According to recent research published in the Journal of Neurosurgery, "Resident duty-hours restrictions have now been instituted in many countries worldwide. Shortened training times and increased public scrutiny of surgical competency have led to a move away from the traditional apprenticeship model of training."
