Alan Barber named chief financial officer at biotech firm

Barber brings to BioTrove more than 27 years of experience in finance and operations, including building successful financing and strategic partnerships in the U.S. and abroad for emerging biopharmaceutical and technology companies.
In making the announcement, Robert H. Ellis, president and CEO of BioTrove said, "Alan has extensive experience in guiding financial growth and commercial scale-up of emerging companies like ours.
