Maker of software for drug delivery systems combines resources, changes name

San Diego-based Alaris Medical Systems has become Cardinal Health Alaris Products.

Cardinal Health has aligned 2 of its San Diego-based subsidiaries, Alaris Products and Pyxis Products, as well as its Pharmacy Management and Consulting & Services divisions in Houston, to form the Cardinal Health Clinical Technologies and Services Group. The new business is headquartered in San Diego, California.

Alaris Products focus on patient safety at the point of care. The Alaris System, (formerly known as the Medley Medication Safety System), integrates infusion, patient monitoring, and clinical data collection in a common user interface. The Guardrails Suite of...
