Rural/Metro, in Partnership With City of San Diego, Wins Renewal 911 Contract for Four San Diego County Communities

Rural/Metro Corporation (NASDAQ:RURL) announced that its partnership with the City of San Diego, San Diego Medical Services Enterprise, LLC (SDMSE), has been awarded a renewal contract in a competitive bidding process to continue as the exclusive provider of 911 ambulance transportation services to the communities of Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Encinitas and Solana Beach in Northern San Diego County, California. The contract was awarded Wednesday on a unanimous vote of the San Diego County Commission.
