American Traffic Solutions Reminds Drivers Work Zone Awareness Week is April 6-10

American Traffic Solutions, Inc., which serves more than 150 communities with red-light and speed camera programs, reminds drivers that April 6–10 is Work Zone Awareness Week. Nearly 1,000 people are killed in roadway work zones each year. Law enforcement has found that speeding in work zones often plays a major factor in many work zone injuries and fatalities. Strong speed enforcement methods in work zones, such as photo enforcement, have a direct result in compliance with following the posted work zone speed limit.
