Spinal implant device firm names David K. Floyd president, CEO

AxioMed Spine Corporation, developer of a novel prosthetic spinal implant, announced that David K. Floyd has joined the company as president and CEO (CEO).

Floyd is a veteran in the orthopedics industry with nearly 20 years of experience, most recently as president of Centerpulse Orthopedics (now Zimmer), where he had full responsibility for the business unit, including research and development, manufacturing and operations, sales and marketing, financing, legal and administration.
