Pharmaceutical company raises GBP 16M, seeks admission to AIM

Allergy Therapeutics, a pharmaceuticals company focused on allergy vaccines, announced that it has successfully placed 21,917,808 new ordinary shares at 73 pence per share, conditional on its admission to trading on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM). The placing was fully subscribed, raising the target of GBP15 million net of expenses. It is expected that the company's shares were to begin trading on AIM on October 11. KBC Peel Hunt is acting as the nominated adviser and broker to Allergy Therapeutics.
