Neuroscience firm reports Richard B. Stone's resignation from its board

Applied NeuroSolutions, Inc., (APNS) said Richard B. Stone has resigned from the company's board of directors to handle family-related issues.

Stone, who has been instrumental in providing financing advice and strategy to the company since 1993, has been a director of the company since 1994 and was serving on the company's audit and compensation committees at the time of his resignation.

A large portion of Stone's extended family live in the New Orleans area and his family has significant real estate holdings in Louisiana, which has not yet begun to recover from the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. In addition, his brother David, who oversaw...
