Pilot study of cryotherapy treatment for Barrett esophagus looks promising

In a pilot study published in the December 2005 issue of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (GIE), an endoscopic spray cryotherapy was used to treat 11 male BE patients, and 9 (78%) of the patients who completed the protocol had complete reversal of BE, with no complications.
