InnoCentive posts $1 million seeker challenge for biomarker discovery

InnoCentive announced that Prize4Life, Inc., a nonprofit organization founded to accelerate amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) disease research, has offered a $1 million incentive to help advance the treatment for the disease.

"This important challenge, identifying an ALS 'biomarker,' is an effort to identify a specific measurement for the disease that can aid in detection and response to therapy," said Jill A. Panetta, PhD, InnoCentive's chief scientific officer.
