digiMedical Solutions, Inc.(TM) (OTC:DGMS) announced the company's pharmacy chain has received compliance certification under the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) The Combat Methamphetamine Act of 2005. The act requires all pharmacists and staff to be trained to spot customers purchasing any product containing pseudoephedrine, ephedrine, or phenylpropanolamine for the purpose of altering its chemical components to produce the street drug "Meth." Many popular over-the-counter medications such as Sudafed, Claritin-D, some Robitussin products and many house brands contain these chemicals, which are used as a decongestant for cold and allergy symptoms.
