Novozymes' Nagy Named to BIO Board

Thomas Nagy, president of Novozymes North America, Inc. since 2004, has been voted the new chairman of the 17-member Industrial and Environmental Section Governing Body of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), succeeding Alan Shaw, president and CEO of Codexis. The selection confirms Nagy's seat on the 2007-2008 BIO Board of Directors. Elections were held recently as part of the 15th annual BIO International Convention held in Boston, Mass.

BIO represents more than 1,100 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations across the United States and 31 other nations. BIO members are involved in the research and...
