Media Statement on NH Decision to Appeal Ruling Banning Commercial Use of Prescriber-Identifiable Data

IMS Health made the following statement today regarding the State of New Hampshire's decision to appeal Federal Judge Paul Barbadoro's ruling banning the commercial use of prescriber-identifiable data.

We are confident the opinion will be upheld by the First Circuit. The Judge's ruling in this matter is comprehensive, well reasoned and based solidly on existing law. Importantly, it upholds the country's tradition of protecting free speech and the free flow of truthful information.
