Leading National Organizations and Physicians Call on New York State to Lead Nation in Rx Marketing Reform

Representatives from national organizations, academic institutions, and prominent physicians at the forefront of reforming the way medicine is prescribed in the United States made a stop in Albany today.

The representatives joined AARP, consumer organizations, and state legislators to advance Rx marketing reform legislation that will require drug companies to publicly report all gifts to doctors over $75. The bill is sponsored by Senator George Maziarz and Assemblyman Richard Gottfried.
