Repligen Reports Ruling on Sanctions Motion Against ImClone

Repligen Corporation (NASDAQ:RGEN) announced that the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts issued a favorable ruling on the sanctions motion filed by Repligen and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) against ImClone Systems, Incorporated (NASDAQ:IMCL) based on conduct that in Repligen's view constituted intimidation of a central witness in the Erbitux(R) patent infringement case. The Court found that one of ImClone's in-house and one of ImClone's outside counsel violated Massachusetts Rules of Professional Conduct that prohibit lawyers from unlawfully obstructing access to evidence or otherwise engaging in conduct that is prejudicial to the...
