Former Governor Holden, St. Louis County Executive Dooley and State Representative Scharnhorst Urge Presidential Candidates to Lead Education Reform Efforts at ED in '08 Missouri Kick-Off

Today, Former Missouri Governor Bob Holden, St. Louis County Executive Charlie A. Dooley and State Representative Dwight Scharnhorst joined hundreds of students at the Saint Louis Science Center to kick-off Strong American Schools' ED in '08 campaign in Missouri.

"Today, I am happy to stand alongside ED in '08 officials to welcome the campaign to Missouri," said Former Governor Bob Holden. "I am joining with ED in '08 because I believe that it is essential for Missouri leaders to ask candidates who campaign in the Show-Me state to lay out their plans to improve public education. Missouri's hardworking families deserve to have strong schools to prepare future generations...
