Lancaster Colony Increases Cash Dividend; Reelects Three Directors; Adopts Corporate Governance Amendments

Lancaster Colony Corporation (NASDAQ:LANC) announced that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of 28.5 cents per share on the company's common stock, marking 46 consecutive years of increasing regular cash dividends. Lancaster Colony is one of only 21 U.S. companies to have increased cash dividends each year for 46 years. The dividend will be payable December 31, 2008 to shareholders of record on December 10, 2008. As of the record date for today's annual shareholder meeting, there were 28,186,379 common shares outstanding.
