Local Schools Awarded for Recycling Outdated Yellow Pages Directories

Schools in Hawaii showed they know what it takes to recycle more than 16 tons of outdated Hawaiian Telcom Yellow Pages Directories during the "Think Yellow, Go Green" Recycling Contest hosted by HYP Media Finance LLC ("HYP Media"), the official publisher of the Hawaiian Telcom Yellow Pages. This year's recycling program took place on the islands of Hawaii, Kauai, Lanai, Maui, and Molokai. More than 50 schools participated in the program during the month of May. Students were encouraged to participate in the contest and the schools that collected the most directories per student won cash prizes.
