New members named to board of directors at medical device firm

Cardiac Science, Inc., (DFIB), a manufacturer of life-saving automated public access defibrillators (AEDs), announced that two veteran medical device executives have been named to its board of directors.

The company also announced that CEO Raymond W. Cohen has been elected chairman of the board and that, effective immediately, former chairman Howard L. Evers has been named president and chief operating officer in addition to remaining a member of the board.
