Novel pyridostigmine analogs show promise as acetylcholinesterase (AChE) imaging agents.

"A series of ¹¹C-labeled analogs" of the AChE inhibitor "pyridostigmine have been synthesized for evaluation as new potential positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agents for heart AChE."
