Research conducted at University of Massachusetts has updated our knowledge about heart disease

Data detailed in "Indices of platelet activation and the stability of coronary artery disease" have been presented. In this recently published study, investigators in the United States conducted a study "To determine whether indices of platelet activation are associated with the stability of coronary artery disease (CAD). Platelet function was examined in 677 consecutive aspirin-treated patients presenting for cardiac catheterization."
