New heart disease study findings have been reported by scientists at Eastern Piedmont University

According to recent research published in the International Journal of Cardiology, "Although stenting has been shown to reduce the need for target vessel revascularization (TVR) in acute myocardial infarction ( AMI), the benefits in terms of mortality and reinfarction are still unclear. Previous meta-analyses have failed to include all currently available randomized trials."
