Research from J.A. Cairns and colleagues has provided new data on life sciences

According to recent research from Vancouver, Canada, "Clopidogrel has similar efficacy as aspirin for the prevention of thrombotic vascular events among patients with atherosclerotic vascular disease (1) and is a suitable alternative for those with aspirin intolerance or allergy." "When added to aspirin, clopidogrel reduces the incidence of thrombotic vascular outcomes among patients with acute coronary syndromes (2-4) and those undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) (5-7). Given the wide prevalence of atherosclerotic vascular diseases and the high event rates, efforts are widespread to improve upon the therapeutic effectiveness of clopidogrel," wrote J.A....
