Researchers at Sichuan University publish new data on valvular disease

"Some studies have suggested that angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) may be associated with permanent atrial fibrillation (AF), but these studies were limited by the absence of structural heart disease in the study group. The aim of this study was to investigate whether ACE may have a significant relationship to permanent AF with mitral valvular diseases," researchers in Chengdu, People's Republic of China report.
