Research from Sultan Qaboos University Reveals New Findings on Acute Coronary Syndrome

2011 JUL 31 -- A new study, "Prevalence, characteristics, and in-hospital outcomes of metabolic syndrome among acute coronary syndrome patients from Oman," is now available. According to the authors of recent research from Muscat, Oman, "We evaluated in-hospital outcomes of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients with metabolic syndrome (MetS) in Oman. We analyzed the records of 1392 patients admitted with a diagnosis of ACS as part of the Gulf Registry of Acute Coronary Events."
