Reports from Canada and the People's Republic of China highlight recent research on SARS.

Study 1: Viral aerosols were generated by a SARS patient.

According to recent research from Canada, "Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is characterized by a risk of nosocomial transmission; however, the risk of airborne transmission of SARS is unknown.
