Fresh data on acute lymphoblastic leukemia are presented in the report "Cytogenetic patterns in ETV6/RUNX1-positive pediatric B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia: A Nordic series of 245 cases and review of the literature." According to recent research from Umea, Sweden, "Between 1992 and 2004, 1,140 children (1 to <15 years) were diagnosed with B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in the Nordic countries.
