Studies from Maastricht University, Care and Public Health Research Institute provide new data on vascular disease

Researchers detail in "Alcohol intake and cardiovascular disease and mortality: the role of pre-existing disease," new data in vascular disease. "Pre-existing conditions have been postulated as possible causes of the J-shaped relationship between alcohol intake and cardiovascular disease. Two research questions have been addressed in this paper," scientists writing in the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health report.
