New data from University of Sao Paulo, Medical Department illuminate research in heart transplants

According to a study from Sao Paulo, Brazil, "Chagas' disease is the illness caused by the protozoan Trypanosoma cruzi and it is still endemic in Latin America. Heart transplantation is a therapeutic option for patients with end-stage Chagas' cardiomyopathy."
