UK Action Plan for Hepatitis Research Established

In the United Kingdom, the Medical Research Council and the British Liver Trust conducted a workshop on March 13, 1995, in order to determine what to do about hepatitis research.

Writer Adrian Eddleston reported that some of the key points addressed were the unavailability of reliable epidemiological data, poor grant support, and poor cooperative clinical research ("Future of UK Livers," the Lancet, March 18, 1995;345:719).
