Immigrants to Israel from Some Former USSR Areas Require Vaccination

Immigrants who originated from the European part of the former USSR may require vaccination against hepatitis A virus (HAV), researchers concluded.

During the past five years more than half a million people from various republics of the former Soviet Union have immigrated into Israel. Because many of these republics are endemic for HAV, Yuory V.
