Study Measures Physician Satisfaction with Testing Procedures

Physician satisfaction with laboratory testing for HIV and hepatitis B virus (HBV) was high overall in a California study.

However, the study was able to identify some groups that were least satisfied with such testing and specific areas in the testing process that may require improvement, indicated Jyoti Rau and colleagues, San Diego State University, San Diego, California ("Physician Satisfaction with Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 and Hepatitis B Virus Testing in San Diego County, Medical Care, 1996;34(1):1-10).
