"Profile of Hepatitis C in a Cohort of Greek Haemophilia HIV Negative Patients."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 22nd International Congress of the World Federation of Hemophilia, held June 23-28, 1996, in Dublin, Ireland, "Hepatitis C is an evident cause of chronic liver disease in multitransfused people with Haemophilia. Data giving the profile of Hepatitis C in a cohort of Haemophilia HIV negative patients of the Comprehensive Haemophilia Care Centre are presented in this study. In 1990 315 haemophiliacs exposed before 1985 to non heat-treated blood products were first tested for HCV antibodies.
