According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 37th ICAAC, held September 28 - October 1, 1997, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, "HCV is a frequent viral pathogen in patients with HIV infection, especially haemophiliacs and intra-venous drug users (IVDU).
