Combined HBV/Flu Vaccine is Cost Effective

A combination vaccine protecting against hepatitis B virus and influenza would be cost effective as part of a routine childhood immunization schedule, according to a report from the University of Michigan.

Compliance with hepatitis B virus (HBV) vaccine remains suboptimal, despite a recommendation by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the U.S. Public Health Service that all newborns be vaccinated.
