HCV-Related HCC Deaths in France on Rise

Deaths from hepatitis C virus-related hepatocellular carcinoma will increase dramatically in France through the year 2020 if better treatments are not introduced.

A research approach conducted by researchers at the Epidemiologie et Science de l'Information allows a reconstruction of the history of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in France and predictions of mortality from hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) related to the virus.
